-Hello
Tyson, I am really flattered to interview you, just
to start it off, though you're really famous, please
give me some background information
It's
my pleasure to do this interview. First off I was born
in Garland Texas. I graduated from my Texas High
School I live right now in Manhattan New York.
-On starting to model: how and when did
you begin thinking of modeling as a career? Were your
family supportive of your choice?
I was not
into modeling really I was discovered by Texas Modeling
Agency called Page Parks and began my modeling career
at age of 15. My family were supportive I was doing
it to make some extra income on the side while going
to school.
-You have modeled for almost
all the major designers and have appeared in their campaign
ads for a number of times, who was the first designer
you modeled for and your very latest?
The
very latest was for Stefano for D&G
for men 2011 campaign. My first campaign I did when
I first started my modeling career was for Calvin Klein
Mens clothing.
-In your opinion, which
campaign marked the beginning of "a new level"
in your career and made you one of the world's most
successful male models?
I would have
to say my work with D&G
I have done so many different work for likes of Versace,
Exte, Tommy Hilfiger, Armani, I must say
7 Of All Man Kind was an amazing campaign as well that
got me known in the industry.

-On the
fashion industry: who are the people that you really
loved to work with? When I worked with Carolyn
Murphy she was so sweet and funny with a down
to earth quality. I worked with her on the jeans
7 campaign we both had a lot of fun together. Another
person I loved working with who is also a good friend
of mine is David Gandy. He is very talented at his work
we have worked on campaigns for D&G
together. It was really interesting work with amazing
clients and even more crazy fun with likes of Noah and
Sam are great as well. Stefano was fun to work with
on the runway show for D&G
2011 this year he had us act out like we were being
characters it was so much fun.
-Tell me
about your professional plans: apart from modeling,
what else would you like to pursue or are you already
pursuing?
Some acting I am actually working
on some small things but yes acting and just modeling
right now at the moment.

-Some tips for
new and aspiring models: what would you say is the key
to success? And what do you consider the most important
"rules of conduct" to get successful in the
fashion industry?
I would say stay true to
yourself don't try and change who you are. I mean you
get sometimes in the industry clients wanting to mold
you is the word I would use into a sort of muse for
them. Like making your hair different or changing you
in some way. I think its always best to stay as how
you were when you first got into the business models
who are more grounded with both feet on the ground tend
to survive more then people who get caught in with the
life style.
-How would you describe yourself
as a person and how is your relationship with your fans
and the people that support your career?
The
fans are so kind and so nice I just love the positive
energy from them. My family are terrific with everything
they love what I do and support me through everything.
At the end of the day I love my job and that is what
makes me happy.
-I know you've have been
traveling around the world, where you would like to
live other than where you do now?
I would
love to live in Europe somewhere I have traveled to
many places but I would say where I would love to live
is Spain . It's such a lovely place and the culture
and people are so fascinating to me.

-Thanks
again Tyson for taking the time to reply to my questions,
before you leave me my last one: where did you
spent your past Christmas Holidays?
I actually
went up to Dallas to spend my Christmas holidays. It
was so much fun seeing my family and old friends I haven't
seen in forever because of my work and busy schedule
you miss out sometimes. Its nice to just stop the world
and not do work but do what really matters most spend
time with people you care about. My New Years was crazy
I spent it in New York and it was a crazy time and night
wishing you all the best in 2011! Tyson :)
