-Hello
Paolo, thanks for accepting to be interviewed for my
web magazine, to start this interview off please give
me some background information.
Ciao Edo,
I was born in Siracusa, a town in Sicily (south Italy
island) where I lived up to 18 y.o. Then I moved to Milan
where I started University and some modelling jobs. I
spent 6 years in Milan, I lived there with friends,
my family is still in Sicily. I studied mechanical engineering
at one of the best and hardest University in Italy,
Politecnico di Milano. In the mean time I worked for
some agencies there, it was an easy way to make some
nice trips and get some money also 'cause my parents
were financing my studies. Moreover I studied acting
at a theatre in Milan. After completion of the University
I started to work for a Japanese company and then I
was relocated near Rome. During my permanence in Rome
I was able to continue acting studies and to improve
my capability on performing also thanks to an actor
coach who helped me a lot.
-You're a mechanical
engineer, when did you decide to pursue a career in
modelling and in acting?
For what concerns
modelling it happened almost by chance when I was 19
y.o. I went to the agency which one of my best friends
was working for. They took me and that's it. For acting
I can say that I started to love acting during last
year at high school and it is still my biggest passion.
I can say that at the moment I don't consider acting
and modelling as a job, I have a very good paid and
interesting job but I don't want to leave aside what
make me happy and anyway I can never know what could
happen in future..

-Please share with
me some of your experiences as a model and as an actor,
what do you consider your best achievement so far?
I'm
not that tall (181cm, 5'11") therefore I didn't do many
catwalks, but I am good for editorials and commercial
pictures. I went to Tokyo and Athens, Japan is cool.
I performed for an acting company called "Teatro
in Libreria" and we were acting in several bookshops
in Rome, I can guarantee you that to act in that context
is not easy and you can immediately feel if the audience
is appreciating the performance, very good training.
By the way what I prefer more is acting in front of
a camera and Hollywood is my dream. My motto is "You
can always do better"
-I know you'll
go to U.S. can you tell me why? How long do
you plan to stay in that country?
Well I'll
spend almost one month during August in LA and I can't
wait to be there...As I told you before Hollywood is
my dream, I'll have acting classes at TVI Actor Studios
and I'm in touch with some agencies there. I hope I'll
have also some free time!
-How would you
describe yourself in a few words? Do you consider yourself
an extroverted or introverted guy?
I'm a
bit shy and that what people can see as first approach
but once I'm in confidence with people I'm very extroverted
and funny.

-What are some of your personal
and professional interests?
I do sport from
childhood, I was doing rowing at agonistic level. I
discovered recently kite-surfing and that's cool. I
have two kites and 3 boards now. I admit it's very difficult
to get bored with me, ha ha ha Just some days ago I was
invited to join the Models Italian National Team, it's
a football team which is born recently. We will have
some football matches in Italy and all the receipts will
be devolved to poor people.
-What quality
do you admire most in people and which one do you find
the most objectionable?
I admire honest and
sincere people. I see the best example in my parents!
People who get popularity and success from life change
their approach and they feel better than all the others,
that's something I don't like and it could never happen
to me.
-Thanks
again Paolo for taking your time to reply to my questions,
I wish you much luck and success on your future challenges!
Thanks
too and a big hug to all your readers. Cheers
PAolo
