-Hello
Greg, thanks for accepting to be interviewed for my
online magazine, to start this interview, tell me about
yourself, what are your personal and professional interests?
Ciao
Edo, and thank you for giving me the opportunity for
this interview.
To start off I grew up on a dirt road in a fairly small
town
in Florida. I grew up having big dreams and didn't know
exactly how I
was going
to pursue them. I started off by going to college at
Florida State University
until I started partying
too much and had to decide on something else to do.
I love
the outdoors and spending time with my friends and family.
I enjoy designing
and building anything and everything. Regarding professional
interests,
I just like to enjoy myself while I'm working and have
as much
fun as professionally possible. Once I stop enjoying
work its time to
switch careers.
-How
and when did you decide to be a model?
It
was my fourth year in college at FSU studying mechanical
engineering
when I read an article in some magazine about how model
turned
actor, Ashton Kutcher,
dropped out of a engineering school to pursue modeling,
I thought
to myself "not a bad idea." So I went to a
model search in Las Vegas
and had 16 agencies call me back for representation
and I have been
traveling the world ever since!
-Tell
me about your modeling experiences so far.
Since
I have started modeling I have worked nearly all types
of jobs including
print, fashion shows, showrooms, and fittings. It is
not all glamorous.
Most of the time the glamorous jobs pay less then the
boring, cheesy
jobs. Overall, it's been a great experience.
-What
is your opinion about fashion modeling world? Do you
think fashion modeling is a very competitive market?
Well
because my main market right now is focused on fashion
modeling in Europe
I see all the competition around the world. I think
that fashion modeling
is the most competitive type of modeling because every
model wants
to be noticed in a big fashion campaign. Especially
Milan, Italy (the
fashion capital of the world) the market is extremely
competitive. Models
from all over the world go to Milan just to get some
tear sheets and
some will work for basically nothing, so the market
becomes extremely
flooded.
-You're
a successful model, besides your look, what do you think
has contributed the most to your success?
The
most powerful tool would definitely be dedication. In
this industry you
must be dedicated if you want to succeed. One must be
prepared for failure
in this industry, because you can't get every job.

-What
are some characteristics of your personality? How would
you describe yourself with 3 adjectives?
I
was an engineering major not a English major, tell me
again what's an adjective?...lol..joke.. I would say charismatic, energetic and intelligent.
-I
guess you travel a lot, if you could choose one place
to go next weekend,
where would it be?
Funny
you ask me that... I want to go to the Greek Isles so
bad, but I heard
I must wait until summertime. So if it has to be next
weekend I would
want to go to Tahiti or somewhere where its warm, I'm
tired of the cold
weather.
-Do
you think it would be possible for you to have a best
friend of the opposite
sex without becoming her boyfriend? Did that ever happen
to you?
I
think it is very possible and that has happened to me
several times in my
life. I think you must be sexist to say one cannot be
friend
the opposite
sex without further relations. I was raised with gentlemen-like qualities
and the ladies love that about me. I respect all and
expect the
same in return.
-Thanks
again for sharing these moments with me, would you like
to leave
a final message to the readers?
Thanks
again for the interview, it was insightful... I would
like to finish this interview off with saying, thanks
to all my supporters, you guys rock!
