-Hello Chris, thanks for accepting to be interviewed for my site! To  start off, I'd like to know something about your background.

Hello! Nin Hao Muh! That's "hello, how are you" in Chinese. Um, yes, thank you for your interest in interviewing me! To start, I was born in Hopewell, Virginia. It's a relatively small city outside Richmond, the capital. My background includes Native American of Cherokee tribe and Czech. I am an easy going guy, take life unseriously, pretty fair, and sometimes easy on the eyes! I currently reside in the Virginia Beach area in Virginia and will be leaving to California within a year.
I have done some extensive work, and to be quite frank, I still cannot believe I even got some of the work I've done. Although I'm not in the big, big leagues, I'm heading toward there. I try my best and I am also real. I don't want to brag of all the stuff I've done, so my resume can be view on my websites and just google 'chris winters model actor' (chuckles). One searches,  they will find me! I like things that range from Asian culture to Nanotechnology!

-I know you worked as a software developer, when and how did you get discovered for modeling and how was your first test shooting?

Well, I don't recall getting discovered, (laughs) but I can say there was this girl who did some modeling and she said I should try. At that time I wasn't sure and I figured I would give it a try. So, I hooked up with some local photographers after some extensive research. When I worked with them, I started to define my own style because I don't like doing all the beef-cake type stylee' poses. I like to utilize my surroundings and everything. That makes the artistic approach. I'm all about working with my environment, emotions, and collaborating with the client for a great shot. The software developing thing is kinda cool, it shows creativity to a point, but corporate world, sitting behind a computer all day long gets a bit boring.

-Visiting your official website,  www.chriswinters.com, I read you worked with a huge number of photographers,  what do you most like when you work with a photographer? Do you have a favourite photo shoot among them?

I like it when a photographer collaborates a concept and we are eager to get the job done. I like it when we both listen to ideas and expand because different view can produce different results! (pauses) A favourite shoot? Hmmm, I remember shooting with Holley Dorrough back in '05, this was a year before she became Playboy material. She was the sweetest thing to meet. We did a better set the year after. I also worked with singer/song writer Natalie Sugars. She’s another dollbaby. I can’t wait until her album comes out!
Hmm, Two shoots I enjoy are: A time, ...I did some work in Vegas, and a shooter named Gary Roberts came up to me and said he wanted to shoot me; asked me how I felt. I told him a bit on the lonely side. From that point, I crouched down, and he shot what is now dubbed "Depressed In Desert". That photo is starting to become really popular. It is one of my most favourite shot and I have some friends wanting to blow that up because it is a true work of art. He has received numerous compliments over it.

Another time was I worked with A&R Photography. I went to this competition in Texas, Mr Romance. I worked with Rose and Anthony from A&R and they were screwing around with me; getting me to lay in bed for some of their romance, steamy shots. I remember having a few of my friends Lisa Yvette, Maida, and a few others holding Rose as she shot me from above the bed, standing. That shot, the "A&R shot" or "Hot In the Bed" became an awesome, beautiful shot. My second favourite.
Oh! I don’t want to forget…  three of my favourite and friend photographers Michael Hiser, Leah Marshall, and Hunter Shelton. Those guys really got me started because they truly produced results and pulled something out of me. To this day production companies, agencies, and everywhere media related have works by them, of me. They are truly my favourite! Those guys have pressed me hard to get where I am today.

-On the acting side, what do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment as an actor so far?

I haven't reached my true goals yet. I have larger goals, but to reach those, I accomplish objectives. However, I can say that one of my biggest accomplishments is working with director Dave Haycox, who worked with New Dominion and produced the show "A Haunting". I appeared as one of the leads, 'Michael' on one of the episodes. Ha! It is funny, because I actually googled that episode and it said it was one of the -best-episodes because it was believable, not to mention shocked because alot of the gals said the guy who played it was 'good looking'. Only if they knew I had a complex because I practically shaved my head for that episode. It was also very, very, very cold while shooting on set. I loved it because it gave me a chance to notch me in the TV world. "A Haunting" episodes became a huge hit on Discovery Channel. I've received alot of fan mail from it and compliments. It was a great role and I truly thank casting director Allison McCallum because she said I was 'perfect' for the part!
Right now I want to continue more in the TV/Film industry. My main wish is to be successful in the major motion film industry. I want to at least star in one full feature film, which becomes a block buster! modeling is great, but acting is a great passion. I always attend classes to learn more and more of the craft.

- Is there a particular role you would like to play? Which actors and directors would you like to work with?

Hmmm, if it were 'my' way, I would love to have Bungie get that Halomovie rolling! I want to be either Master Chief or some other supporting character in the movie. I always would love to be in films that have a story line or sequels, and then in the end I get killed off. I don't know, but largely, it would be cool to play a bad guy in a sequel! now directors? I would say I like Johnny Wu's work. I also like all films by Lions Gate. Intense!

-What are your personal and professional goals?

Personal to be successful. I also want to help others, provided they help themselves and remember where they came from. Professional goals are to be a successful and respected actor/model in the TV/Film/Entertainment industry.

-How would you describe yourself as a person? Do you enjoy meeting new people and your fans?

Easy going. Hmm, I am now convinced I can effect lives in a good way, so I use those abilities to help others out. Kinda gives me good marks in life and makes me feel wonderful about it. I accept everybody's culture, religion, sexual preference, way of thinking, handicap, or anything else. I consider myself a decent soul. I'm not a fake by all means and'm human, so I do get mad, cry, and even laugh. Sometimes, I do it in public, and if anyone was to see, if they laughed, that would be cool too.
Enjoy meeting my fans? Yeah it is kinda cool. Sometimes though some friends worry I'll meet a psycho, and I told them, that I enjoy meeting those too. I want to know, seriously what they think of my performance, and if I can learn from their suggestions, my improvements can be measured by sincere listening. I have attained a lot of fans and usually I try my best to give them a little bit of my personal life. They appreciate that. They also realize that I do spread myself thin, and them telling me that appreciates them back.

-And talking about fans,  how do you feel when one of them recognizes you and ask you for an autograph?

I love it. It shows they see something in me or I have impressed them. Me signing an autograph just gives back. Kinda like a hug (chuckles). When they recognize me out of the blue makes me feel good. I also givem them a hug as well. Best of all, I like to take photos with them. That's better because they appreciate the photos to take home and cherish. It gives them a little bit of Chris Winters at home! I don't know.... I feel good about it.

-Have you ever been on a "blind date"? If yes, could you tell me what happened?

Golly gosh! I don't even remember being on a blind date? Actually I don't ever think I was asked to be on one!

-Who do you think is the most beautiful woman alive?

The most beautiful woman alive? Is the one who cherishes me, loves me, and supports everything I do. If she can with stand all thediscombobulated and unorganized way of life that I have, then THAT'S a beautiful woman!

-Thanks again Chris for sharing your story with me, do you have any additional comments?

Thank you for having me. I appreciate all my fans and people of interest. I want to say there are a few website representing me, like Nextcat.com. I love them! They are the best! They are a wonderful networking tool. As I grow, I want them to grow with me. I also want to say that when you see my work, you get just Chris Winters, but if you read about me, get to know me, and dig a little deeper then you will get the true Chris Winters.
