-Hello
Chris, I'm really flattered you accepted to be interviewed
for my website, to start this interview off tell me
about your first modeling experience, what was it like
and who discovered you?
Well to be quite
honest I was introduced to Bruce Weber by a former model
by the name of Peter Johnson. Immediately Bruce booked
me for the Abercrombie and Fitch campaign in 2001. I
was very lucky to have that opportunity and work with
such an amazing photographer so early. I am forever
grateful for this opportunity I have been given..
-What
was the reaction of your family about modeling? Were
your family supportive of your choice?
Mixed
emotions to be honest. I had just graduated from a great
private business school in Boston and spent four long
hard years working to pursue a career on Wall Street I
think my mother was always a bit curious, whereas my
father was a strong mannered electrical construction
worker and didnt want me to lose an opportunity in the
finance world for such a pipe dream. I guess I understand
his position. He just wanted the best for me...
-Who
do you consider the people who made you one of the most
successful male models today?
God there are
way too many hahahaha. I would have been nothing without
a compilation of the right people and the right moment

-You
were the cover model of the December Issue 2007 of
Tetu Magazine with photos by Greg Vaughn,
what was it like working with him?
I
love Greg...He was so easy to work with and we only
had a limited amount of time for the shoot which sometimes
tends to make life a bit difficult. All in all, he is
outstanding in my book.

-I saw your recent
photo editorial "A Summer to remember" by
Steven White (Men's Fitness June-July 2008) and I have
to say that it's amazing but what do you prefer doing
photoshoots for editorials and ads-campaigns or doing
the runways? Thats a tough question... I
think without both aspects of the industry it wouldnt
be the same experience. I feel like they go hand in
hand. I like them both for many different reasons.
- Apart
from modeling, what else would you like to pursue?
Maybe an acting career?
I am currently living
in Los Angeles doing just that. I am pursuing an acting
career so please wish me luck...hahaha
-Surely
you'll be a successful actor Chris...but let's talk
about aspiring models do
you have any tips for them? What should they
expect from modeling?
Be yourself!!! And
never ever compromise.... its definitely not easy business
so be prepared...
-How would you describe
yourself as a person? Do you enjoy meeting new people?
When you have time for leisure activities, what do you
like to do? I am a pretty easy going guy
and think that when it comes to myself its been a work
in progress. I am not the boy I was years ago and have
worked hard on becoming who I am today. It wasnt easy....hahahahaha
we all have things we need to work on and I am still
learning. as far as meeting new people, I am more of
a people watcher. I dont mind meeting new people but
I keep the people that are close to me already....the
closest, not really quick to jump. As far as leisure
activities...I have always had a secret crush on music.
Its my inner sanctum that I explore with my best friends
who are also musicians at heart. a good drink, good
company, and a good setting is all I need....
-Thanks
Chris for taking your time to reply to my questions,
it was a gift to me and to my readers!
Thx
so much for your interest in me and I apologize once
again for taking so long to get back to you...x
