-Hello
Chris, I am flattered you accepted to be interviewed
for my website, to start this interview off please give
me some background information.
Thank you
it is great to be here, My story starts in southern
California where I was born and raised and lived there
most of my life, I live in Austin, Texas now and have
lived in Fort Worth, TX for one year a couple years
back and also Mt. Joy, Pa for a brief period of time
as a kid. I have a great family that I am very close
with, my two sisters, my mom and I, we have all been
through a lot together. I am currently attending college
in California via online classes and am undecided on
my major.
-When did you first start getting
interested in modeling? Was this career something you
had planned to pursue?
Would say in 2006
is when I really started asking myself if modelling
was something I wanted to pursue, and things seemed
to happen in a way that spurred me on to keep at it,
I felt that I got good encouragement and feedback from
the photographers I had shot with, and as I gained more
experience started to feel more comfortable in front
of the camera and more exposure. I wouldn't say I planned
to pursue or look for a career in modelling but sometimes
destiny finds you, things seemed to sort of fall in
place.
-You worked with one of the greatest
photographers of these years, Tom Cullis, www.tomcullisphoto.com,
what was it like working with such a great artist? Did
you feel comfortable in front of the camera?
The
thing about Tom is, he has a great eye for art and when
he shoots he always has some sort of vision about what
he wants to produce and a goal and purpose for each
shoot. He sets a high standard for himself, and always
achieves and frequently out-does himself. He is the
kind of guy who will not close a shoot without absolute
perfection. Artist seems to be a great word to describe
Tom, I really can't say enough about his work and his
character, he is a great guy, good friend and exceptionally
talented master of his craft. I felt comfortable in
front of the camera the couple of times I did shoot
with him.
-You're a in perfect shape
Chris, how many times a week do you go to the gym? What
do you think about supplements? Which ones do you use,
if any?
lol, Thank you, I don't tell myself
that, there is always something that I am trying to
balance out in my physique and there is always work
to do, once I start getting complacent with my condition
often-times I feel I sort of lose a step. On a good
week, I find myself in the weight room 4-6 times, I
get in there as often as I can, sometimes I will space
out my lifting routines and go less frequently if I
feel I need extra recovery time. Cardio is important also,
and try to get about 3 sessions in a week. I feel supplements
are very beneficial, I use multi-vitamins, protein powder, and
essential fatty acids most of the time, when they do
ask, I usually tell people that it is mostly good nutrition
that will give them the results they are looking for,
and that slow and steady is the best way to gain or
lose, depending on their goals, sometimes things can
go as quickly as they came, nothing extreme, kind of
like running a marathon instead of a sprint.
-Apart
from modeling, what else would you like to pursue? What
are your professional goals?
My education
is a top priority right now, professionally my goal
is to give it my best at whatever I set my hand to and
I feel confident that wherever that takes me is where
I am meant to be. I have ambitions and desires of careers
and different things I want to try in my life, and things
I am shooting for...a very successful businessman once
said about his achievements that he just made the most
out the opportunities that presented themselves, I still
reflect on that from time to time. I do take the responsibilty
of making plans and setting goals, many times they get
interrupted, but I am becoming okay with that, because
sometimes I find what I am really supposed to be doing
while doing something else.
-Tell me something
about your personality, are you "easy to get to
know" or "hard to read"?
If
you were to ask anyone that knows me well they would
tell you that I am very laid back and mellow. I am an
observer and often am tagged by many people as being
shy, my mind is always running and I am always thinking
and analyzing so you might consider me mysterious or
reserved. I guess it just depends if I had coffee that
day lol
-How do you like to spend your
leisure time?
Music is a hobby of mine, and
one of my favorite things to do is to sit down, play
my guitar and sing, I have written a couple but seem
to always be making adjustments to them, I can't say
I have a fully completed song yet.

-What's
your life's motto? What phrase do you live your life
by?
You know I can't say that I have one
life motto, I have ideas and philosophies that I use
in making decisions and adjusting my attitude...but
I have not adopted a life motto yet.
there is
a great quote by Bret Hart that really impacted me when
I heard it...
"The best chance you have
if you want to rise to the top is to give yourself up
to loneliness, fear nothing, and work hard, one thing
you'll discover is that life is based less than you
think on what you've learned, and much more than you
think on what you have inside you from the very beginning."

-Do
you like to travel?
Yes, I love travel and
wish I had the opportunity to do it more, however, I
feel like it's important for me to have a place I can
call home, the past few years has been a series of moves
from one place to another and it would be nice to settle
down for a little while in a place that truly feels
like home.
-Thank you again Chris for
the interview, I wish you Good Luck with all your future
challanges!
Thank
you it's been a real pleasure.
