-Hello
Ben, thanks for accepting to be interviewed for my webmagazine,
to start this interview tell me about your background.
I
was born into a military family. So by default, I was
destined to move around a lot. I was born in Virginia,
and then from that point on I moved around a lot
in between Washington state, and Minnesota. I have
a brother, Mike, who I love dearly! He is in high school
in WA. I left MN when I was 18 and moved to Miami
for a year. I now attend OCC and live in Newport Beach,
Orange County. I'm a family orientated kind of
guy, even though I live so far away from any family.
I plan on graduating from Orange Coast College
and then transferring to San Diego.
-How
did you get into modeling? What do you think about the
fashion world?
I got into modeling at a young
age. My mom pushed me to go into modeling and
at age 12, was in Target, several commercials, and other
misc. print ads. I took a break from modeling
in high school, but as soon as I moved to CA,
I continued on with my modeling. It is really weird
going into a place like Nordstrom and seeing yourself
on the wall larger than life... I love the fashion
world and everything that it represents. I try
to keep up with current trends and always support local
clothing companies. I support any OC company that wants
to make it big, and has a focus on skateboarding
and surfing.
-What do you like most when
you work with a photographer and what was it like working
with Tom Cullis?
When I work with a photographer,
I really appreciate the final product. I know
how much time photographers spend in photoshop and I
really appreciate them for that! Tom Cullis is
such a fantastic photographer, He is usually working
with high end models, or celebrities, so I am
lucky to have worked with him. I love the way Tom knows
my angles, and can really capture that clean cut/but
edgy look.

-Do you have any other plans
besides modeling? Would you consider pursuing acting?
I
plan on modeling for now while I am young, after I get
my education, I would possibly pursuit more acting.
However, It has always been a secret passion of
mine to be an actor. I would like to own a night club
some day also. I love people, and I believe that with
proper networking, anything is possible.
-Tell
me about yourself, what are your greatest strengths?
My
sign is Aries, and can be a little too into astronomy sometimes.
It is kind of a guilty pleasure for me. I
consider myself a very strong person and a natural
born leader. I don't always make perfect decisions,
but I am very quick to learn. I am kind of an old soul.
I have more fun driving in my Jeep listening
to music on my way to school, than I would at
bar. I love my friends and I would do anything
for them. I try to also be a good example for my peers
and kids that are younger than me.
-Are
you a romantic guy? Have you ever cried because of love?
I can be romantic. I am slightly pessimistic
about love. I think that love comes in so many
different ways, and I am in a time of my life, where
I only love people as friends or family. I love being
single and figuring out what it is that I truly
want. I want to get to know myself before
I commit to anyone special.
-I noticed
that a lot of websites posted your photos Ben, how does
it feel to have so many fans?
As long as
I keep working with these great photographers, and keep
my body in shape, I hope to continue to produce
great work. To everyone who likes my work,
thank you for all of you positive comments. I think
that you are awesome ;-)

-Do you
like to travel? What was the most interesting place
you have ever visited?
I just got back from
a photo shoot in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for TIMOTEO
CLOTHING based out of LA. I would really like to travel
to Brazil soon. I love their culture and their
people. To all you Brazilians out there, XOXO.
-You
are in great shape, what sports do you practice? Have
you ever tried any "extreme" sports?
Thank
you. I Skateboard all the time. I really like going
to Volcom skate park right by OCC and getting
crazy. I surf a lot when the waves are right.
I just bought a skimboard, and it is incredibly fun.
It really hurts to wipe out on a skim board when
you are learning though. I love and embrace all
xtreme sports 100%
-Thanks
again for taking the time to reply to my questions, I wish
you great success on all your future challenges!
