Interview
by Edo Q for CoverMen
Mag! May,
2008
-Hello Adam thanks for accepting
to be interviewed for my web magazine, to start this
interview off, I'd like to know something about your
background.
Thank you for this wonderful
opportunity to share my photos and have this interview
with you. I have lived in Canberra my whole life, although
I have spent a bit of time overseas. I went to a local
private school where I enjoyed playing sports like rugby
and waterskiing. Once I left school, I pursued a career
as a cabinet maker and in more recent years I have been
working as a scaffolder.
-I saw
your awesome photo shoot by Nik, those photos are really
pieces of art, what was it like working with a great
artist as Nik? Did you feel comfortable in front of
the camera?
Nik was easy to work with. He
is a very professional photographer. He has a wonderful
gift of capturing quality shots. I was extremely happy
with how the photographs turned out.
I felt
really comfortable in front of the camera. It
was a little different to having a photo with my Grandmother
but I fell right into it after my first shoot with Nik.

-What kind of assignments, (TV commercials,
runways, photo shoots and soon), as a model, would you
accept?
I have an interest in all of the
mentioned forms of media. To be completely honest anything
involving modeling is really exciting for me at the
moment. Ideally I would love to become a well known
Australian male model, so whatever helps me achieve
that, I would gladly accept.
-Do you
have any other plans besides modeling? Would you consider
pursuing acting?
I have no ambition at the
moment to undertake acting but would not rule anything
out in the future. I enjoy the modeling work and
want to concentrate on that for now. I really hadn’t
considered acting as a legitimate option, however I
never thought I would become a model either. I will
keep my options open and think about that if it ever
presented itself.
-I guess people consider
you an attractive guy, how important is it for a model?
And according to your experience, are handsome men more
likely to have success with women?
Models
have to look good because as bad as it sounds it is
what people want to see. I think being attractive is
a prerequisite of being a model in our society.
To
answer your second question, it will always be easier
to meet women if you are attractive. But it is not essential
though. In my experience, a guy will have more success
with women if they are funny and interesting rather
than just good looking and boring!
-Tell
me something about your personality, are you "easy
to get to know" or "hard to read"?
I
would like to think I am an easy person to get to know.
I am very relaxed, easy going and enjoy a diverse range
of people’s company. I am extremely goal orientated
and have high expectations of myself and of my career. If I attempt something, I want to see it done well.
-What are some of the most popular tourist
destinations in your country? Have you ever been to
any of them?
I think some of the best tourist
destinations in the world are on the Australian east
coast. I love going on road trips with friends to the
amazing beaches on offer in this area. It doesn’t matter
where along the coast you go; it’s all pretty amazing
especially if you like to sunbake and surf.
-Let's
talk about money, what would you do if you won the lottery?
I
would throw a party for my family and friends. I would
also go on a trip around the world to see all it has
to offer. I suppose it depends how much I won as to
how much I could do with it. I think it is everyone’s
dream to win the lottery, a life without money concerns
would be ideal.
-Thanks again Adam
for sharing your story with me, I wish you all the best:
health, happiness, love and success!
Cheers,
thank you for interviewing me, it’s been a pleasure.
